Welcome to the Lake Michigan Forum

The Lake Michigan Forum provides public input to U.S. EPA on the Lake Michigan Lakewide Management Plan (LaMP) and is a medium for direct involvement in the LaMP process from representative stakeholders of the Lake Michigan basin. The Forum also identifies and implements non-governmental activities that can help in meeting the goals of the LaMP.

The Forum meets at different locations around the basin to interact with citizens to discuss local issues affecting the Lake, to provide input into the work of the participating government agencies, and to discuss implementation of the Forum's work plan.

Forum participants include local governments, regional planning organizations, business, industry, environmental groups, sport fishing interests, academia, agriculture, Native American tribes, sewerage districts, and Areas of Concern.
